Blessed 26

January 3, 2026

I would love to be able to sit across the table from each of you–with a cup of coffee, naturally–and tell you know how much you are appreciated.

With all that has gone on in Israel, it makes no sense, yet God is doing a great work in Israel that is marvelous in our eyes.

And you have played an important role.

Two plus years ago Israel was shocked into the reality that her existence was suddenly under threat. On the day of Simchat Torah, the most joyful day of the year, also known as the “last great day of the Feast,” Israel’s borders were invaded by over 5,000 Hamas terrorists from Gaza. By the end of the day almost

5,000 unarmed civilians lay dead or wounded in an extended, unspeakably savage assault. Two hundred and fifty-one innocent men and women, including babies and Holocaust survivors, were hauled into Gaza like animals as hostages, where they were kept in the most inhumane conditions imaginable.

As the news of the assault became public, there was a wave of sympathy around the world, mainly because there was a lot of videos captured from retrieved smart phones.

Yet in a matter of days, the tables turned as thousands of protestors surfaced on city streets throughout the world, including America.

Then protests broke out on college campuses across our nation, accusing the Jews of being an apartheid state, colonizers and genocidal. With no room for rebuttal, the case was settled in social media courtrooms. The verdict;

Israel bad

Hamas good

Then came the silence.

The accusations from the world stage were virulent. Protestors young and old took on the cause of Palestinian victimhood. Antisemitism surfaced across the globe with little or no resistance, while Israel fought a war on six fronts with endless missile attacks and few allies offering support.

When asked by a well-known pastor why there was no mention of Israel or the Jews from the pulpit, he said,

“It’s a sensitive subject.”

Not to God, though, and fortunately not to you. It’s very clear.

Now is the acceptable time to favor Zion. Israel needs to meet her Messiah and those who follow Him in spirit and in truth.

Since the war began, Israelis have been talking about God, asking questions to fellow soldiers from the Messianic community and searching the internet. The one word that has shown up on Google searches far more than any other is “Yeshua”!

Our partners have been actively sharing the gospel all over the Land with great responses. Just recently,  Israelis began reading the bible in their own language for the first time in history, thanks to our partner, the Bible Society. (Check out a recent interview about the new bible translation with Victor Kalisher of the Bible Society here.)

Pregnant mothers all over the Land are choosing life more than ever due to the compassionate counsel and care of our partners in Bead Chaim.

Our partners have been on the frontline of humanitarian work, including providing shelter and legal aid to those who have been displaced or deeply affected by the trauma in its various forms.

Many miracles are coming out of the tunnels of Hamas. Former hostages are speaking about how God’s Presence showed up in their darkness and brought comfort and confidence in the presence of their enemies.

The Land where the Messiah was born and most of the Bible written is coming back to its roots because of your loving and loyal support.

Help us help you to spread the word so the silence ends and spiritual enthusiasm is restored to the church as the one new man re-emerges on the scene, even in 2026.
