Many of you are prayerful and financial supporters. We could not have progressed this far without you. When we began CMP the percentage of Israeli Jewish believers was 0.025% of the population. Now it is conservatively 0.1%!
That is a dramatic increase, and we are extremely grateful and rightfully proud of our partners, even though they are still few compared to almost all the other nations.
When you support CMP, you are supporting your family in Israel.
On a more personal level, I wrote this update with great joy, yet a troubled soul. Joyful because our partners are doing a great work amid trying times. Troubled because their emotional, spiritual, and financial support continues to decline.
Six months ago, we began inviting Christians to join our November Israeli Advocacy Tour. I am forced to cancel it because we have no participants. This has never occurred before. There are only two reasons I can assume for the level of disinterest. One is fear of war, which I can understand because of the uncertainty, but the other is more troubling. With no responses, I can only speculate, based on the spike in anti-Israel sentiment. Christians are afraid of going because of the fear of associating with Israel.
That kind of fear is not logical, it’s spiritual.
